Bent Paddle Solar donates to the Verndale Area Christian Academy Childcare Center
Invenergy donated $4,000 to the Verndale Area Christian Academy (VACA) in the city of Verndale, Minnesota to help aid in center programming and childcare initiatives at the center. Invenergy’s Bent Paddle Solar is being developed in Wadena and Todd Counties.
VACA is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment for children and families throughout Wadena County. Invenergy’s donation will help the center continue to provide high-quality childcare services that promote early childhood development and support working families in the local community.
“As a parent of children that attend VACA, as well as a teacher here, and a landowner working with Invenergy, this donation that Invenergy provided means a lot to us,” said VACA parent and teacher, Kara Kern. “Being able to provide a level of excellence can come with costs, and that is not something that all families are able to provide for themselves financially. Therefore, I personally appreciate Invenergy's constant efforts in giving back to the community in our mission to continue to offer quality childcare for our community.”
“On behalf of everyone at Verndale Area Christian Academy Childcare, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for the generous donation,” said Director of the VACA Child Care Center, Kimmi Wilson. “Invenergy’s support plays a crucial role in enhancing the care and education we provide to our children, and it is because of our partner organizations that we are able to create a positive, nurturing environment for the next generation.”
